"Infinite Harmony: Lunar New Year of the Snake" Sculpture to be installed at the Oculus at WTC

The installation seeks to create a powerful, unifying experience that will resonate with New York City's diverse community and international visitors alike.

The design responds to the context of the Oculus, resonating with the skeletal lines of Santiago Calatrava’s design, and the symbolism of the celebration, reinterpreting the snake into the infinite flow of a Mobius strip - an object symbolizing harmony and growth while framing dynamic spaces that invite reflection and celebrate renewal.

The sculpture was built from composite aluminum panels using CNC technology, the result of a multidisciplinary collaboration between Danielle Chang, Artist Warren King, Richard Gluckman, and Andrew Weigand of GTA.
